Description
The AKC Canine Good Citizen™ (CGC) program provides a perfect framework for training your dog to become a polite member of society. The 10 test items on the CGC test are practical, functional behaviors that every dog should have to be welcomed in the community.
Thriving Canine’s six-week group class is designed to prepare each handler/dog team for the test, which will be given on the final day of class.
Cost: 185 (Your $85 non-refundable deposit is due here to reserve a spot in the class. Your $100 balance is due on the first day of the course.)
Course Includes:
- Five weekly group training sessions
- Access to Thriving Canine’s Basic Obedience Online Course
- CGC Testing (performed on week six of the course)
- Graduation Certificate from Thriving Canine (after passing the test)
- AKC test results paperwork
- CGC participant ribbon
Important Note: The cost of the course does NOT include an official AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate. That must be purchased separately from the AKC, after the student passes the test and sends in their paperwork.
The next class starts on Saturday Feb. 1 @ 11:30 am. with the test happening on March 15.
